SNS Herefords is a family-run mixed farming operation located 10 miles East of Airdrie, AB on Yankee Valley Road. The Nixdorff’s consist of Scott and Barb and their two sons Rob and Paul whose families work alongside them to raise cattle and harvest crops.

They run roughly 500 breeding females consisting of purebred horned Hereford and Hereford cross Red Angus. SNS has been raising registered Horned Herefords for over 40 years, and it has been a family tradition since 1986 to consign bulls to the annual Calgary Bull Sale.

SNS has always strived to produce excellent uttered, highly functional cattle for the commercial rancher. Their commercial cows are tested sustainable by being run on big mountain ranges during the summer, and straw bunches during the winter.

The SNS cow herd derives from foundational horned Hereford programs such as Jones Hereford Ranch and Jim Hole breeding.
